Brunei Cyber Games 2011

Gran Turismo 5: Racing with Peugeot.

Tournament Format:

·         Round Robin (Expected 3-4 drivers per group).  Each will play head to head.

·         Based on the number of players, the 1^st and/or 2^nd from each group will proceed to the knockout rounds.

·         This will be subject to changes depending on the teams’ turnout.

·         Draws will be made to decide who will go to which group.

·         Participants will be ensured to be updated on this matter.

Rules & Regulation

Game Setups:

·         Peugeot only event. Selection of cars will be Peugeot Le Mans.

·         Driving aids are optional in Traction (TCS), ABS only and free choice of transmission (AT/MT)

·         Grip will be set to real. Every other option will be turned off.

·         Tires: sport soft and below.

Tracks: 5 laps (Any of these track will be picked randomly)

·         Time Trial Mountain

·         Deep Forest

·         Tsukuba Circuit

·         Special Stage Route 5

·         Cote de Azur

Tournament Guidelines:

·         DS3 will be provided for each racer but participants are encouraged and allowed to use theirs.

·         Using own steering wheel is allowed but inform the officials beforehand in advance.

·         Any use of game exploits, cheats or any other play deemed “unfair” by an admin may result in disqualification.

·         Setting up racing customization will be allowed before the race within a given time limit.

·         Race starts when both parties agreed.

·         Failure to attend within the designated time will lead to disqualification.

Forfeits, Disputes & Support:

·         Any game issue that cannot be resolved by the players in the race must be brought to the attention of an admin immediately.

·         If any intentional hardware reset occurs, the officials may decide to end the race with the offending players losing by forfeit.

·         Once the race starts, player will not be able to dispute a race on the grounds of race settings, BOTH players are responsible for ensuring race settings and buttons are correct.

·         Disputes must be filed within 5 minutes of the completion of the race with a tournament administrator.

·         Name & Contact no (for notification and updates).

·         Preference/Ability to come on Day 1/Day 2.
